Double drawn raw hair, where the shorter strands have been removed by hand so the thickness carries from root to tip instead of tapering away at the ends.
What does double drawn actually mean?
In any head of hair, strands are naturally different lengths. Left alone, a bundle is full at the weft and progressively thinner toward the bottom. Double drawn hair has those shorter strands pulled out, one pass at a time, until what remains is close to a uniform length.
Why does it cost more?
It is slow manual work and it takes noticeably more raw hair to build the same bundle. You are paying for the hair that was removed as much as the hair you receive.
Is it better than single drawn?
Not better, different. Double drawn suits blunt cuts, straight styles where the ends are visible, and anyone who wants maximum density. Single drawn suits softer, more tapered, more naturally layered looks and costs less. Full comparison in single drawn vs double drawn.
Which textures are double drawn?
