Is Burmese hair good for natural curls?
It is what we would choose for 3b to 4c hair. Hair from Burma, also known as Myanmar, is thick and coarse by nature. Air dried, the curls are supple and soft while staying coarse and textured, which is exactly what lets it disappear into natural curls instead of announcing itself.
Is it a one-look purchase?
No. It will mimic a twist out, and it takes a blowout well, so it is more versatile than its reputation suggests.
How much should I allow for shrinkage?
Curly hair wears shorter than its measured length, so if you want it to fall at a particular point, order longer than the number in your head.
Should I buy it to wear straight?
No. You would be paying for a curl pattern you are removing, and the daily heat shortens the life of the hair. Buy a straight texture instead.
